I love this picture. I can remember all the feelings I felt, sitting there, closing my eyes, feeling infinitely small in front of the ocean. Feeling grateful that I get to witness amazing landscapes. Feeling sad that I cling on to things I want to let go. Feeling all the feelings. I decided to set an intention for myself. To try again, to meditate. I've tried countless times before, I've done a study about mindfulness and stress, and used meditation apps. The change happened when I decided to really commit to my meditation. To honour myself for showing up, to try again and again. To come back to my mat. Magic happens with practice. It takes time. Give yourself some time. ❀️ This morning I was super tired and decided not to run, because the half marathon is in 2 days and I'm not willing to risk an injury. I felt guilty at first, but chose to meditate instead. All is good. βœ¨πŸ™πŸΌβ€οΈ #yogaeverydamnday #yogagirlchallenge #meditation

Something shifted, something changed, I feel anchored.✨❀️I'm so excited about Sunday's race β€οΈπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ I've worked so hard for this race. No matter how hot it gets & how hard it gets, I'll welcome everything and appreciate this race for everything that it is. I'm so ready for a PB, but if it's not Sunday, I'll try again. I've done the work. There's always another race, but for now, I'll give everything I have to this half marathon β€οΈβœ¨πŸ™πŸΌ. #positivity #halfmarathontraining #halfcrazy

Sacred space ✨πŸ”₯❀️. On Mondays, set an intention for the week to come. This week is race week for a lot of us, where do you want to direct your attention this week? βœ¨πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ#yogaeverydamnday #halfmarathontraining

I saw yesterday that next Sunday's weather will most probably be 30 degrees. This triggered me because I honestly really hate running in the heat and sun. I can't wait for cooler temperatures and I'm considering a winter half marathon, no joke. This morning, I was running thinking "I an not prepared enough for heat, not ready enough, not good enough, I hate this". Same old patterns. You know what, these are just thoughts! They are as real as you let them be. I know I'm *f* ready for a half marathon PB. I've trained consistently for the past 12 weeks perhaps more than I've ever trained. I know I'm strong and I can do this. All these thoughts will coexist, and I know they will all arise on race day, but I can choose the ones I feed. ❀️My body is more than ready, now I have another week to train my mind. βœ¨πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ #mindovermatter #irunthisbody #halfmarathontraining

Roadtrip to Sherbrooke to go see one of my best friend @beauvail and go try some yoga at @festivalbohemia ❀️(merci pour la sΓ©ance @studiomyoga πŸ™πŸΌπŸŒΈ) Also got to see @vivibilodeau & @elohamel_ ☺️so lucky to be surrounded by amazing friends, so so grateful ✨(#yes, this #yogaeverydamnday shirt is my favourite and I would wear it every damn day if I could πŸ˜‚). #festivalbohemia #grateful #yogagirlchallenge #day16

This race what everything I needed before next week's half marathon ❀️❀️❀️ yesyesyesyesyes!!! Was aiming for 30 min (been running 6:20/km lately) and I ran a 27:18 5k !!!!!! πŸ˜³πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ I can't believe this!! I had to dig deeper than I've done in a long time, feeling so much pain I almost cried twice. My mantra was "I am strong, I can push through the fucking pain. I run this body." πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ Angry running = fast fast fast running πŸ˜‚ SO beyond happy that I shared this moment with my close friend! Love you @julaniel ❀️ thanks to her kind boyfriend for the (45000) pictures πŸ“Έ(he was very patient πŸ˜‚)! #coursenocturne #fondationdrjulien #temporun

Tonight I'll be running with @julaniel for a cause very close to my heart. I absolutely fell in love with this charity's mission: to give all children a chance. They provide medical care, social workers, nurses, lawyers and psychoeducation to children in need, here in Québec. I choose to share some love with this charity by donating, volunteering and tonight I'll run for the children. ✨❀️ Your destiny shouldn't be defined by the conditions in which you are born. #fondationdrjulien #pediatriesociale #coursenocturne

Fall 🍁✨. Fall is often a synonym of new beginnings. Perhaps it's the start of a new school year for you. The first days of school, new faces, new places. There's great comfort in what's familiar to us. Seing this familiar sight makes my heart warm. If you've been following me for a while you might know I always start my runs here. Seing these streets, seing an old friend in class, seing your sisters after some time apart, is magical ✨. Knowing I can run these streets without fear, every morning is different and every morning is the same, just like we are. All different and all the same. ❀️ #run #yogaeverydamnday

Yoga is a slow dance ❀️. By repeating the same sequence over and over, you find dept in the mouvements & awareness in the transitions ✨. Today I'm making space for the transitions on my mats & in life. πŸ’• {1h of hip stretches with @beebosnak on @oneoeight.tv and some sun salutationsπŸ™πŸΌ this morning} #yogaeverydamnday #yogagirlchallenge @yoga_girl music : Zimbabwe (flume remix) ❀️

Mindset βœ¨πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ. I ALWAYS find time for running or yoga and cooking. Of course I have lots to do in my life, but I decided that my health is my priority. The only constant in my life is my body. Nothing is worth sacrificing my health, not work, not school (although I love what I do ❀️), not money, not what people think. I choose to prioritize play, doing things for the sake of it, every damn day. Running and doing yoga for fun. Cooking & meditation & painting, not because I'm going at it (πŸ˜‚), but because it makes me feel good. I prioritize meaningful connections with friends and family, because it's what makes us human, meaningful connections with others. Is life as wonderful if we don't get to share it? I heard a talk from @joseeannesarazincote (❀️) and it really inspired me. She said that we all say "oh I'd really like to make time for yoga/running/etc." and that when we never find the time to do it, we should tell ourselves "This is not a priority for me, at this moment." instead of feeling guilty about it. Maybe running is not a priority for you, right now. Make a list of your priorities, the real one. Stick to them. ❀️✨😌#priorities #morningrun #yogaeverydamnday

This morning I woke up at 5 am after a night of nightmares. I woke up feeling super stressed out, my breathing was very shallow and I felt a knot in my stomach. I thought of the fact that I only slept 5 hours and felt even more stressed and that I should've slept more. I've felt this knot in the stomach all weekend and my hip was hurting on Saturday's race (which is where stress accumulates in my body). I thought of anxiety as a lifestyle and decided I did NOT want to start my week this way. Although I was scared, I rolled out my mat and settled for 20 minutes of meditation. As the minutes went by, I started breathing more and more deeply, and I was gasping for air, desperately as if I felt I couldn't breathe. I ended this meditation and did some asanas with a feeling of inner peace. I then started journaling and as my pen touched my paper, I wrote the date, September 11th. πŸ™πŸΌπŸŒŽ

"This is perfect πŸ™ŒπŸΌβœ¨πŸ’«β€οΈ" was tonight's mantra. This picture was taken before the race πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ, I was as tired as I looked before I even started πŸ˜‚. I ran the entire 15k without music and without seeing where I was going (took a gel at km 6). Thank god for the volunteers πŸ™ŒπŸΌ. The goal of this race is to run in the dark and have a feeling of what visually impaired/blind runners experience. We made donations to an association helping them:) maybe one day I'll be a running guide for them πŸ˜ŒπŸ’«. Amazing race, perfect temperature. Slower than I hoped, but perfect and exactly what I needed. **to the volunteer who took this picture and those at the race, thank you thank you thank you ❀️***#parcmaisonneuve #coursemec #halfmarathontraining #15k
