On the bright side of leaving the house at 7 am: one of my favorite NYC lattes.

Special holiday delivery: an entire box of rainbow cookies from my mom’s college roommate who never ever forgets us at the holidays and our birthdays. 🌈

This Sunday is my last class of 2018! We’ll be making lots of rugelach and black and whites too at @mm_jccmanhattan. Tis the season for cookies! And then I think I’ll try to rest.

I’m insanely exhausted but we got to record our last podcast episode of our first season with the one and only completely iconic warm wonderful and hysterical @jewdygold!!! I’ve been watching her brilliant, authentic comedy for much of my life and it was the greatest honor and joy to meet her, interview her and SELFIE with her. She has a podcast and a new album called KILL ME NOW and she is funnier than ever. Amazing day. Also I’m already so short - why do I crouch when taking selfies?!

Last latke celebration calls for caviar. We fancy.

Fried a lot of latkes today. Gotta keep my zeiftig figure after all.

Throwback to this delicious little latke tester - my youngest daughter two years ago when she still had the pudgiest little hands and wrist rolls. Now she wakes me up at 2:00 am, squeezes my face and says “mom, mom - let’s have a party.” Or “Mom, mom - I want pancakes.” Motherhood is a blessing. Happy Hanukkah.
