Harness your power. Felt good last night to be back on the Iron Grind. My break was much needed and it was almost hard to jump back on the bandwagon... being so comfortable.
Despite all the water retention from the liquid diet of soup while recovering after my tooth pulling Im doing great. Weather is beautiful, flowers are blooming, butterflies are flying. Embrace it 🌺 🌞 🌈 -

Take time to encourage yourself today and errday. Felt so good today during spin class. I haven’t been able to let go because of the uncomfortable toothache 🦷. Since getting it pulled, I feel great and ready to throw some iron around.🏋🏾‍♀️ The liquid diet of soup had me retaining so much water and it felt great to sweat it out 💦. So Let’s Go!

I’ve been MIA but still working, thriving, moving forward and Becoming. Life is about Manifestation... 😆
I haven’t posted much, but also haven’t been to the gym in maybe 3 weeks, and I’m okay with it. I’m still meal prepping, but also enjoying fatty foods. If I want it, I have it. - Don’t forget about the mental, inner growth and recovery. Bad tooth pain, turned into a much needed break. You often work so hard on your physical body that you forget about the inner mental state. Taking the time to breathe a bit and focus on really healing. Healing my metabolism because competing can take a toll on it. So what I thought was menopause turned into hormones confused and finally got a normal cycle in check, my headache turned into the need of glasses and age saying “what’s up” and my scattered brain just telling me to rest. - My point is take care you inner body just as much as you your outer body. They both matter and need TLC.

Never underestimate the power of consistency and desire, both will lead you to succeeding your goals. I workout hard, often and because I enjoy it.
Exceed your expectations. Do what feels right and what brings you Joy.
My weekends are exactly that........MINE. The gym is my relaxation time, a time to zone the f**k out. This was a lil from Saturday night Leg day.... my soreness today reminded me to post this.... 🔥👍🏾

Last nights Back Pump was insane 👏🏾
For a long time, I didn’t make back training a priority and skipped over detail. Why?
1. My hair covers it in the back pose.
2. I believed the back pose as a bikini Competitor was focused on the Glutes.
3. I didn’t want to grow it to much as I thought that was for figure competitors and didn’t wanna look that defined.
I was soooo wrong. It’s about symmetry and widening the back cause it gives the illusion of a smaller waist, which has been my feedback as a pro. So we work, train, and pay attention to detail. Not leaving any stones unturned. That is one thing I know I can control, cause genetically I don’t think my waist can get tini tiny, but we will see. I’m patient, motivated and determined...... what more is needed?
