In addition to the unique and immersive Cloud Forest collections there are other unusual late bloomers this time of year in the Garden like the beautiful natal lily (Crinum moorei) from South Africa. Traditional fall color is also becoming more pronounced throughout the Garden as the days continue to shorten and temperatures dip. Keep an eye on our story for all the seasonal highlights. #sfbotanicalgarden #fall

So grateful to @t.bozic and @timtast1c for their amazing efforts and talents! Prints of Tiffany's gorgeous California pipevine swallowtail butterfly painting inspired by Tim's work were sold and generated over $7,000 to support Tim and the team's butterfly habitat work here at the Garden! You can see Tiffany's original painting and more of her impressive works for yourself on Nov 16th at @joshualinergallery - thanks again Tiffany and Tim! 🦋🌱🖼🤗#sfbotanicalgarden

Friday the 13th is intrinsically an eerie day. One that falls in the middle of October, doubles the eeriness. Honor the mystery of this unusual instance to pursue otherworldly adventures with an evening in the Garden. Discover the darker side of the plant world by scheduling a Toxic Plant tour to learn how plants adapt to ensure digestion or disgust. Close the night by being transported into the elegant netherworld of San Francisco-based singer/pianist/storyteller, @jilltracymusic, as she is your guide through a musical séance— and historical tales on the fine art of poisoning— in the Garden of Fragrance.
Light snacks will be served and beer will be provided by our partners at @fortpointbeer - ticket link in profile! Tickets are limited and already moving so get yours today! 🌱☠️🔮🎹🍻#sfbotanicalgarden 📷: David Allen
