Today I started reading the Aetherial trilogy by Freda Warrington (book no.1 Elfland) and I'm really excited because I've never heard of anyone mentioning these books (they were nearly impossible to find) but the premise and the cover art looks amazing 🌙✨ I'll keep you guys updated and hopefully find some links for where to purchase these books! #bookstagram

New blogpost & book review! I just finished Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen and sadly I wasn't a fan. There was a lot of things I had issues with (forced romance, abuse, bad character decisions etc) but you can read more about that by clicking the link in my bio. I know a lot of friends who loved the book, so hopefully if you decide to give it a try you'll have a better experience than I did! Now I can't wait to start my next read ✨☕️ #bookstagram

Making progress with this one! It has a tendency to lag a bit when it comes to the overly descriptive moments, but I had the same experience with Game of Thrones and wound up loving that series one I caved and just skim read the boring parts (oops). I have a big announcement for you guys, and it's something I've been promising for a while now... I'll post more about it later this week! 🌹 #bookstagram

Currently Reading: The Architect's Apprentice by Elif Shafak 🌹 | So you can all blame Réh @myfictionalbubble for introducing me to BTS because now I'm in love with them and their music. I already have a favorite (it's Hoseok ✨) and I must have listened to his part in Cypher 4 on repeat a million times between now and yesterday morning. It hasn't even been that long and I'm already in way too deep. 😅 {#bookstagram}

I keep ogling #IronCast in my TBR pile because I love the cover so much. If you're a fan of the Roaring 20s and love a good fantasy novel, I highly recommending checking out this one by Destiny Soria! Also, some of you may have noticed I'm trying to slowly revert back to an autumnal theme even though it's the middle of July, but that's just what makes me happy so that's what I'm going to do 🌙😌✨ #bookstagram

My spoiler free review for An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson is now live on my blog (link in bio)! This is likely my new favorite book of all time. You don't understand how much I'm restraining myself from blabbering on about it all over social media, but I want everyone to be able to experience this treat for the first time with no expectations or theories. All I can say now is this: the plot, the writing, the romance, the characters... literally EVERYTHING is wonderful and made me incredibly nostalgic. I can't wait for autumn to get here so I can take some more fitting photos with the official hardcover 😛🎃 If this isn't on your #tbr yet, ADD IT. | Publication Date: September 26, 2017. #anenchantmentofravens #bookstagram

I'm reading #StolenSongbird by Danielle L. Jensen because I love a good Goblin tale, but honestly I'm having a hard time focusing with it. A lot of my fellow reader friends said they adored this book but I'm nearly half way through and it still hasn't grasped my full attention! I'll definitely finish the book since I've made it this far, and I'll have a review up fairly soon 😄 On a side note, I got four shots today and had blood work done at the doctor's office, so I'm a bit out of sorts (and currently still at work). Can't wait to go home and sleep afterward ☕️ #bookstagram

I just received another package from @themeltinglibrary and I'm so freaking excited because they're inspired by one of my favorite 2017 releases: Flame In the Mist by Renée Ahdieh! The two that I bought are Jukai Forest which smells like "cedar, citrus, and mist" and Ökami, which smells like "woodsmoke and warm stone." Ökami has my favorite design but Jukai Forest is by far my favorite TML candle. It smells WONDERFUL. And definitely reminds me of the book! You can save 10% on your next TML order by using the code SEELIE10 ✨ #bookstagram #themeltinglibrary #flameinthemist

Thank you so much for 60k!! I still remember when I first started out #bookstagram and blogging, and it's been quite a journey these last few years. I wouldn't have made it this far without you guys, so I owe you my gratitude for keeping me encouraged and being so kind 🌹 I hope to continue pursuing all aspects of the literature world, and perhaps I'll start BookTube before this fall! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday 😄 (Currently Reading: The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco)

I've been trying to find copies of Freda Warrington's Aetherial Tales series for months and just recently found all three hardcovers at a thrift store for 10$ total ✨ The covers are stunning-- probably the most ethereal book covers I've ever come across! I really cannot wait to start these stories. Here's the synopsis for book no.1 Elfland: Rosie Fox is a daughter of the Aetherials, an ancient race from the Spiral—the innermost realm of the Otherworld—who lives secretly among us. Yet she and her kind are bereft of their origins, because on Earth, in a beautiful village named Cloudcroft, the Great Gates between worlds stand sealed.

Her parents, Auberon and Jessica, are the warm heart of Cloudcroft and of Rosie’s loving family. But on the hill lives the mysterious, aloof Lawrence Wilder, Gatekeeper to the inner realms of Elfland. Tortured by private demons, he is beset by trouble on all sides: his wife has vanished and his sons Jon and Sam are bitter and damaged. Lawrence is duty bound to throw open the Gates every seven years for the Night of the Summer Stars, a ritual granting young Aetherials their heritage, their elders vital reconnection to their source. Lawrence, however, is haunted by fears of an ever-growing menace within the Spiral. When he stubbornly bars the Gates, he defies tradition and enrages the Aetherial community. What will become of them, deprived of the realm from which flows their essential life force? Is Lawrence protecting them—or betraying them?

Growing up amid this turmoil, Rosie and her brothers, along with Sam and Jon Wilder, are heedless of the peril lurking beyond the Gates. They know only that their elders have denied them their birthright, harboring dark secrets in a conspiracy of silence.

When Sam is imprisoned for an all-too-human crime, age-old wounds sunder the two families…yet Rosie is drawn into his web, even as she fears the passions awoken in her by the dangerous Wilder clan. Torn between duty and desire, between worlds, Rosie unwittingly precipitates a tragedy that compels her to journey into the Otherworld, where unknown terrors await. #Elfland #bookstagram

Renée Ahdieh is such a talented author, any book she publishes will be an instant-buy for me! The Wrath and the Dawn was beautiful, but I think I love her latest book, Flame in the Mist, slightly more. The setting sold me. Do you have a favorite of the two? Let me know! 💫(On a side note, there's a flash flood warning in effect and I would be thrilled.... if I didn't have to drive all over the place today.) #bookstagram #thewrathandthedawn
