Dianne  All photos are of my garden taken with an iP 7+ in Portland, Oregon

Sempervivum. This sexysemp is surrounded with all of her babies in one of my semp baskets. Such a happy plant! #sempervivum #sexysemps #succulents #plantmagic

Bacopa is one of the best basket annuals in my garden. It is care free and covered in blooms all season long. This pot hangs by my front door and, I think, Is better than a welcome mat. #bacopa #annual #troublefree #blues #faithful

Trailing fuchsia-procumbens. Exotic rainbow blooms followed by ornamental pink- purple fruits. The seed pod is just above the bloom. This is the smallest fuchsia I have seen - no bigger than my small fingernail. It blooms nonstop, all season long and obviously is quite a conversation piece. #fuchsia #procumbens #rainbowblooms #pinkpurplefruits #plantmagic

Sexysemps and rocks - a perfect way to celebrate Friday the 13th! I have been fascinated with rocks and stones since I was a child, as a result, my yard and garden are heavily laden with combinations of various patterns of rocks and plants. I love how the semps snuggle right into the stones as if they were sunbathing. #sexysemps #sempervivum #succulents #stones #rocks #patterns #gardenart

It seems appropriate as we are impacted as a nation from the fires, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and shootings that I post this rose. After torrential rains today, Wildfire managed to stand tall after being completely drenched from a hail storm. Wildfire reminds me of how strong our nation is as a whole and despite unimaginable death and destruction, we can proudly hold our heads up. Our hearts go out to all those who have sustained the terrifying effects of mother nature‘s wrath. Peace. #rose #wildfire #hybirdtea #hailstorm #drenched #peacefortheplanet

I fondly refer to this as the “Blob”. Our plum tree, planted in 1956, grabs my attention every fall by producing one or two of these large, brightly colored fungi. I am assuming it is a fungus, as I am no expert. Definitely a conversation piece. #fungus #colorfulfungi #fallcolors🍁🍂 #amazingstructure #treemagic

Crassula Pagoda- just before I bring it inside for the winter. It has provided an amazing display of patterns that are simply fascinating. #crassula #crassulapagoda #succulents #plantmagic

With the arrival of fall, the colors of the season take center stage. Bright blooms and renewed foliage usher in this special time of year. The fuchsias are full and dripping with blossoms. Orange King never fails to put on a show. #fuchsia #orangeking #fallcolors #plantlove

Yes-these blossoms truly are this bright and colorful. My favorite begonia this year with it’s dark foliage curling around every blossom, it is exquisite. #beginia #moccabegonia #orangestedsyellows #plantmagic

Nighttime temperatures have dropped requiring the move indoors for the winter. @sacredelements encouraged me to post this photo of the event. Two years ago I was the proud owner of two cacti. With the constant encouragement and enthusiasm of @sacredelements, my little succulent family grew. Fortunately, the sexysemps and sedum are hardy outside. Thank you Karina for all the excitement and discovering this new passion has provided. 🤗🤗🤗. #succulents #echeveria #crassula #cacti #passion #gardenart

Childhood memories and the amazing varieties available meet every garden environment. Nasturtiums easily grown from seed can overflow a garden with a small investment. I so remember sucking honey from all the blossoms in my grandmother’s garden. Now we enjoy them in exquisite salads! So many colors and nuances. Blooms all season and reseeds #nasturtium #honey #chldhoodmemories #simplicity

Mimulus-monkey flower. I love yellow in the garden and when the plants have spots, it is a bonus. Plant magic at work again. This little gem reseeded in a crack in a wooden container. Perfect. #mimulus #yellowmimuluswithspots #reseeds #gardenmagic
