To my fellow fans, I’ve been away. I want to share with you that I have been battling with bipolar for many years, since I was eleven years old. I may look like the happiest and silliest man on earth, but that is an artist's art of hiding. I have been hiding for so long and I’m done with it because I know when I share - I will receive more support. I have days when I feel defeated and broken down. Every morning I get up is a battle that begins and never ends. I know I’m not the only one going through this, and now it’s time to erase the stigma for those who feel the same way. There are moments when I just want to give up but I'm not going to do it because I know I have so much to give in this life, to spread positivity and joy that people rely on. What I’ve learned is to surround myself with the right people who love me, support me, and believe in me unconditionally. There is no reason for you to feel ashamed. It makes for what you are but not for who you are. We live in a society that will never understand us and what we’re going through. That makes us unique because we understand more. We have depth. We have compassion. We are the people with strong minds and powerful souls. We allow ourselves to feel what we’re feeling and that is our strongest gift.
Life is large, and so is our planet. We are tiny human beings walking on it. When we close our eyes in the darkness of the night and breathe the cold crisp air into our lungs, inside we open our eyes to seeing the stars. The sound of cars driving by in the distance, birds chirping and ocean waves crashing dance in our ears. In the moment of pure silence we hear our heartbeat. The sign that we're alive and the reason to live. The meaning that every single day is a brand new day. You and I are strong. You and I are worth it. We’re all in this together.
And I promise you when the time is right, I will return to screen.
