My Fitness goals for 2018. It’s a long one with my preggo story!
1. Try new workouts
2. Get into @scottsdalebodi 3Xweek
3. Maintain my current weight as I approach the next decade (not sayin which one) of my life!!
I have seen and read so many wonderful posts of pregnancy lately so I wanted to share mine too! It’s quite a bit different! Mine were very complicated and hard pregnancies. I had horrible back pain that no DR could figure out. It was back labor which started at about 22 weeks but because my insides are....well...a bit different no one knew! At times I could barely walk and the only place that was comfortable was Amy couch with my legs propped up and a heating pad on my back.
However; when I did feel good I would go on a walk or walk on my treadmill if it was to cold outside (we lived in Chicago then).
My daughter (who is now 4) was born at 43 weeks and in the NICU for a month and a day. She was also breech and really far to my left side. Therefore my emergency c-section was cut vertically right through my lower abdomen. This means getting my abs back was going to be HARD and guess what it is! I am still working on it but our bodies are truly AMAZING and because I was in good shape before my pregnancies my body retained some! Was I in good shape post pregnancy no....was I in bad shape...no I was stuck somewhere in the middle!
To get back in shape I had to put the work in, it is hard, still is. My body changed, my abilities changed, my core strength depleted but I am getting there one day at a time through hard work and determination! This is not a “Wo is me” post it is to share my story/journey hopefully it will reach anyone who needs to hear it! #mamagoals2018 @scottsdalebodi

My 2018 Health and Fitness Goals 🍎Health - get my body feeling back to normal. I recently discovered I have EoE (allergic reaction in my esophagus) and have started an elimination diet to determine what my body can no longer tolerate. It has been a mentally tough and frustrating process, but hopefully worth it🤞🏼💪Fitness - Continue to improve my strength, specifically in my legs and glutes by adding heavier weights to the lower body exercises and hitting the track 1/week. 💚 My favorite thing about Bodi is that even after 2.5 years I still find the classes challenging. The trainers and workouts continue to push me to the next level.

2018 @scottsdalebodi Instagram Challenge. My goals for 2018 are you attend at least 4 Bodi classes per week mixing in 2 a days 1 week per month. I’m working towards being able to do 5 pull-ups and a 5 minute plank by the end of the year. I also am working on cleaning up my diet, eating cleaner and greener. What I love about Bodi- everything! No 2 classes are the same. It seems to get harder as I go. I feel amazing after. I love when i get called out for resting, pushing me even harder. Cheers to 2018! @saucelife square wheels
