The thing about feeling pain, is that you must FEEL it.
.
The good news is that pain does not and cannot last forever; no matter what you're going through in life it's important to realize that the same pain that breaking you down is the same pain that's growing you.
.
The human spirit is so strong, the human body and mind are so adaptive, we will adapt to any stress, stimuli or demand that we're faced with.
.
The prerequisite to growth?
.
Going through the pain, you need to walk through the fire and feel the heat in order to get to be improved on the other side.
.
The principle is the same both inside the gym and out.
.
Your biggest enemy is not something extrinsic, the biggest challenge and barrier is overcoming your own mind. 💡 #schillerfitness #theEvolutionProgram

Your subconscious mind is a storage bank.
.
It stores thoughts, memories, skills, behaviour etc.
.
It's up to YOU to think positive thoughts through your conscious mind by being aware at all times what you think about and say.
.
Most people are their own demise and not because they do it intentionally but because they lack awareness, they don't realize that they're constantly and consistently storing negative information into their subconscious mind.
.
And as we know, your subconscious mind is who you are, how you behave and how you think so if it's always being filled with negativity don't expect a life that is anything other than a reflection of that. #EvolutionProgram 💡🗡

Think about situations where the goal was something we were excited to pursue:
.
Getting a degree,
.
Starting a new exercise routine,
.
Making a career change.
.
Turns out to look very different in practice than in theory.
.
The problem is that most people spend all of their time thinking about the end result.
.
BUT the fastest way to get to a particular spot, is to set your compass and start walking.
.
Pour all of your energy into the journey, be present in the moment, be committed to the path you are walking.
.
In other words, your goal becomes your compass, not your buried treasure.
.
The goal is your direction, not your destination.
.
The goal is a mission that you are on, a path that you follow.
.
It is the commitment to walking the path that matters.
.
Choose a path and then walk it. 👌

⚡️ The seated one arm KB Press forces you to depend on your core and shoulder strength as you take your legs out of the equation.
.
🔥 This is a great variation to build shoulder strength and stability as well as increase the intensity of a lighter kettlebell.
.
❗️ To be honest I think my form would be way better if I used a lighter bell, but this was the only one I had at the beach 🤷‍♂️
.
💥 Mix this movement into your next routine to hit your shoulders and core at the same time 👌

Focus on WHO you are becoming rather than being obsessed with where you are going.
.
Who you become dictates where you can go; who you ARE becoming is the only variable you have control over right now.
.
Achievement is derived from momentum; the more you achieve the easier it becomes to achieve.
.
The more you accomplish, achieve and overcome the more you're conditioning your brain to be that way.
.
That is why it's crucial that you accomplish the smaller goals in your life, it makes it easier and easier to achieve the bigger ones because you're gradually and progressively conditioning your brain to be in an "achievement" state of mind.

What stops you from taking action?
.
Is it overwhelm, fear of failure, anxiety, and a host of other blocks, thoughts, and feelings?
.
Reading a book on becoming more confident, for example, won’t magically transform you into an individual free of insecurities.
.
Only through application can information really be made useful.
.
There is no exception.
.
The secret is asking yourself the following question: What is the next smallest step that I can take, right now?
.
It’s simple.
.
It’s not for a lack of information that’s holding you back… Google will tell you anything and everything.. It’s a lack of implementation.
.
Get things in motion, because an object in motion tends to stay in motion, and you want to use that to your advantage.
.
After you get the ball rolling, you’ll build confidence and things will continue to snowball and become easier and easier.
.
Kill your fear by taking action and then build on it.
.
Take control of your thoughts and emotions, before they take control of you.

You want the result now.
.
I get it.
.
But so many struggle seeing long term, sustainable results.
.
Why?
.
It's usually because they don't yet have the identify of the type of person who can actually achieve what they want to achieve.
.
Become the person who never misses a workout.
.
Become the person who stay true to their word.
.
Become the person who is confident in all situations and takes massive action.
.
Then you'll see results.
.
Guaranteed.
.
No pills, shakes, diets or programs.
.
I'll leave you with this question:
.
Who do you need to become?

💁🏼‍♂️ What you repeatedly do (i.e. what you spend time thinking about and doing each day) ultimately forms the person you are, the things you believe, and the personality that you portray.
.
But what if you want to improve? What if you want to form new habits? How would you go about it?
.
1️⃣ Set a Reminder for Your New Habit
.
❌ Getting motivated and trying to remember to do a new behavior is the exact wrong way to go about it.
.
If you're a human, then your memory and your motivation will most likely fail at some point. Just the truth.
.
👀 Setting up a visible reminder and linking my new habit with a current behavior made it much easier to change. No need to be motivated. No need to remember.
.
Set your workout cloths the night before, put your floss right beside your tooth brush, or write out your to do list the before the next day starts. Whatever will help you execute.
.
2️⃣ Routine
.
Here’s your action step: Decide what want your new habit to be. Now ask yourself, “How can I make this new behavior so easy to do that I can’t say no?”
.
🏄 For me, its waking up early to go for a nice paddle before breakfast.
.
👌 Just helps wake up me and get me energized before starting the day.
.
3️⃣ What is Your Reward?
.
Give yourself some credit and enjoy each success.
.
🍓 For me after my paddle, its time for a nice healthy breakfast! But in the long term, each day the reward is getting closer to where you want to be.
.
⚡️ Only go after habits that are important to you. It's tough to find a reward when you're simply doing things because other people say they are important.
.
It’s all a process. Start small and build from there!

🔥 Been working more of these into my routine to incorporate some more balance training.
.
⚡️ The bottoms-up kettlebell press is a great drill to build shoulder strength and mobility!
.
💥 The challenge of keeping the kettlebell upside down teaches you how to tighten the core and find your groove in the press.
.
❗️ Make sure you have the movement down first before try it with one leg!

Start today. 🔥
.
.
What can you do TODAY to get closer to becoming the type of person who can achieve what you want?

🏉 I had a ruby player reach out to me asking how to perform better on the field.
.
💥 I said that you need to get in the zone and develop a good pre-game routine that you don’t break.
.
🤔 The more I think about it, same goes for everyone.
.
🏆 You can train yourself to achieve your goals just as well as you can train for failure.
.
😔 Today you may be saying, “I need to be motivated to get anything done,” but I guarantee that it doesn't have to be that way.
.
💢 If you’ve taught yourself to believe certain limitations, then you can also teach yourself to break through them.
.
📆 The patterns that you repeat on a daily basis will eventually form the identity that you believe in and the actions that you take.
.
🏃 You can transform your identity and become the type of person who doesn’t need motivation to perform well.
.
🔥 This is why it’s so critical to do your “pre–game routine” every time, not just when you’re struggling with a lack of motivation.
.
📈 Pretty soon, your pre–game routine will not only be a trigger that kickstarts your habit, but also a reminder of what you’re working towards and the type of person you are becoming.
.
🤷‍♂️ If you only work when you feel motivated, then you’ll never be consistent enough to get good.
.
⚡️ But if you build small routines and patterns that help you overcome the daily battles, then you’ll continue the march towards greatness even when it gets tough!
.
