So, it's been 3 days since I ran my last cross country race ever, and it's still hard for me to find words to describe everything I feel. But I'll do my best (⚠️long, simpy paragraphs ahead⚠️) .
(1/3) To my entire XC Ohana:
You all have done more for me than I'll ever be able to repay you for. As much as I talk to you during practices or comment on your guys' IG posts, I can't find enough words to express how much I care about this team and the people in it. You all have shaped me into the person I am today; by teaching me to fight through any pain, overcome any obstacle, push my physical and mental limits, appreciate everyone around me, by picking me up from my lowest points, and by showing me that family isn't defined by blood. You all inspire me to be my best self, the least I can do is to try to inspire you all back. This team is crazy, spirited, passionate, and something truly special. I have faith in every single one of you to continue loving, encouraging, and inspiring each other as the years progress.
You've all given me a purpose in life to be and do better, and that's something I can't thank you enough for. It's been a great 4 years, my #XCohana . Thank you for everything ❤️
