"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5 "But since he has no root, he remains for only a season. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away." Matthew 13:21
Some days are bright and joyful, other days are gloomy and depressing. Some days I marvel at God with awe and praise, other days that's the exact opposite of what I feel like doing. But if there's anything I've learnt that's worth sharing, it's this; God remains constant in every single season you go through. You may go through valleys, hills, storms, tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, calmness or comfort, and yet God never changes. He remains gracious, loving, caring, forgiving and all that He is despite your circumstances. Despite how much the waves rock your boat, God will always be the one who steadies it. Despite your doubts and stubbornness towards Him, He never wavers nor thinks twice about His love and grace for you. Despite the calamities of life that seem to throw you off your boat, He always reaches out to calm the waves and calls you to Him. Despite it all, God is good. He will always remain good.
And His love is extravagant, incomprehensible, unthinkable, and much more than your mind could ever imagine.
