I was 5 years old when I first remember being self conscious about how much bigger I was than the other kids. I didn't know that's what was happening then, but I figured it out after spending over 20 years feeling completely unworthy of anything positive because of my size.
It has taken me years to unlearn the ridiculous notions that society embedded on my brain. Every YouTube video I make, I'm speaking to my younger self. I'm letting her hear every word that she wished someone would've spoken to her. I'm removing all her doubts and replacing them with the encouragement she never seemed to be able to find within herself. I'm showing her that the size of her body reflects nothing about her except the size of her body.
I have two little kids now and I refuse to let their insecurities grow into the hideous monsters that you and I grew up with. Man don't ever let anyone make you feel small because of how big you are. Keep that crown on Queen 👑
Ps. What's up @boohoousa, Nahla said she's ready to be your model, but only if she can dab in all the pictures 😭😂😂
