As if Fall wasn't already my favorite, then @vintageretchen (@yonder_house) goes and creates this amazing work of art using some of my favorite color tones ever and lets me take it home after I photographed her lovely family!! 😍😍 Not enough heart-eyed emojis in the world for this one. Thank you, Gretchen!!! 😘😘😘😘

Looking forward to heading to the mountains for a weekend off with my sweet crew celebrating Jemma's 1st birthday!!
My sweet Jemma Blythe! You have surely lived up to the meaning of your name (gem, light-hearted and cheerful) and you fill us and everyone around you with such joy! What a privilege it is to be your parents! Your open-mouthed baby kisses and sweet laugh are some of the best things ever and watching you and your sister and your ever-deepening bond is the best kind of parenting payday! 📸: @lauramurray

The realities of being 5'3" and photographing model-esque brides. 😂 Thanks to my friend and second photographer @sarahhbox for the behind the scenes pic! 😘😘

Loved brunching with my second photographer at this cute restaurant in Vail before Saturday's wedding! Now I'll have to return on a non-work day with the hubby to enjoy the champagne brunch! 😍🍾

I wanted to create a meaningful and bold portrait for Christina to remember this season in which she went from her journey as one to her journey in oneness when her fiancée Riley became her husband. I’ve always loved the simple beauty of silhouettes and recently have felt inspired to create some more bold ones by combining silhouette art with floral art. I created this one by doing a double exposure with Christina’s lovely profile and a centerpiece from her rehearsal dinner. Her wedding took place in Crested Butte, CO during peak wildflower season! Her portrait filled with wildflowers to me will have a lot of emotional recall years from now when she looks back and is reminded of that weekend in Crested Butte with family and friends surrounded by the natural beauty of the Colorado mountain fields dappled with colorful wildflowers. Maybe the image will remind her of the morning of her wedding and the anticipation she felt while getting ready with her mom and bridesmaids, drinking hot tea and rosé as it rained outside her parents’ cabin. Or maybe it will remind her of the horseback riding tour with friends and family the day after the wedding or of watching fireworks shoot over the side of the mountain from the base of the ski hill on the 4th of July. I have no doubts that whatever memory it inspires from that weekend, it will be sweet and treasured.

I'll never tire of this warm summery color palette. @violetfloraldesign @avintageaffaircolorado

P.S. Have you been following IG stories yet? What are your guys' feelings on them?? I KINDA feel like I'm cheating on snapchat, but I just can't be every place at once so I'm posting #bts on my stories here now! Follow along! 😘😘

I’ve lived in Colorado for over 1/3rd of my life now and though I’ve seen many beautiful places, I still have so many more I want to explore! So this year I’ve taken it upon myself to plan as many family staycations and day trips around the state as I can. One of my favorites was Crested Butte over July 4th weekend! There was gorgeous scenery in every direction and the cutest little main street with too many good restaurants and cute boutiques to possibly fit into one weekend! I’d love to plan a little weekend getaway when the leaves are changing colors and I’m thinking of Estes Park or Grand Lake. I’d love to hear any other recommendations of must-see places (for any time of year)! Please share! #hasstedtsdocolorado

Nine years ago today I married my Cute Boy! We were just babies at the time and have done a lot of life since then. I wouldn't choose anyone else I'd rather do life with and thankfully so because I don't know of anyone else who could put up with all my crazy and support all my ever-evolving dreams and ambitions in the process! I love his dimples and his boy-ish charm which can melt my quick-temper faster than it started. He is so so good for me and I definitely got the better end of the deal! Love you Paulie! 📷: @connie_whitlock

I loved having the privilege of being able to photograph not just one, but two, meaningful ceremonies for this stylish L.A. bride & groom! Each was so beautiful and so different from one another! The first one was a traditional Chinese tea ceremony that began at the mother-of-the-bride's home where Scott, the groom, had to propose to Jen in front of friends and family. They then honored their elders by serving them tea and doing a prayer offering ritual. The second ceremony happened the next day and was a traditional Catholic mass that took place in a gorgeous church in downtown. It was such a beautiful experience getting to witness both of these ceremonies for such an amazing couple!! Happy first anniversary, Jen & Scott!! 😘😘

Happy National Lipstick Day! A day designed especially for girly girls like me, right behind National Donut Day and National Pink Day.
Truth: I almost always can be found wearing lipstick. Bright red and pink in every shade under the sun are my go-to’s. It doesn’t matter if I’m going to the park with my girls, on a date with my hubby, on a run to the grocery store at 11pm with my glasses on and hair in a messy bun….I will probably have some on! I have them stashed all over our house. In the drawers in our kitchen, on my desk, in my purse, in our bathroom, in my car. In 6th grade my mom told me I wasn’t old enough to wear lipstick to school. So I stashed some in my locker and would put it on at school and take it off before going home until one day I got busted when I’d forgotten to take it off before my mom came to pick me up. And that’s where it all began. My rebellious lipstick-wearing pre-teen days. (Some of my favorites: @honest_beauty lip crayon in demi-matte and @maccosmetics in Chatterbox)
So if you are also lipstick obsessed, share with me your favorite go-to products/shades in the comments!!
