At 4:45am this morning, thousands of passengers including myself headed to the pool deck, waving flags, hand clappers and cheering as this impressive cruise ship made her way through Sydney Harbour.
We had been watching the weather updates closely and really hoped for a clear day, but the misty moody weather sure didn't dampen any spirits of those on board and the amazing locals and tourists who lined the harbour to witness this giant cruising to her new home port!
I captured this from my balcony, along with my previous post, before packing up and disembarking. I have to say, those that know me well know that I have a really bad sense of direction so I'm just bummed that the moment I *finally* could navigate my way back to my stateroom on my own without looking at signs and got it all under control between forward/aft and port/starboard, it's home time! I figured I'll just have to try it again some time soon. For now, this trip on this incredible ship was a great, memorable way to experience cruising for the first time!
