❤️ "Take bread away from me, if you wish, take air away, but do not take from me your laughter." - Pablo Neruda . Midsummer Common in Cambridge is still a public grazing area, which means you can take your cows here to feed. Moo 🐮
Dr John Venn, famous for his Venn diagram, was an Anglican priest at some point, before resigning and reentering academia at his alma mater, The University of Cambridge. In his later years, he became President of Gonville & Caius College up to his death. . When I return to Cambridge, the Wisteria here will be in full bloom. Can't wait for some purple treat 💜
Open sesame! Here they are, silver Farandole necklace in 80 cm and Regate scarf ring in palladium. My first, since I usually get gold-toned scarf rings. . I tried making the 120 cm work but didn't like how low it hangs since my torso is rather short. It is great for double loops though. This 80 cm is the perfect length for single loop. I've not tried looping it into a bracelet yet, but it should work! 💕
A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. . Beautiful Tübingen is home to the second oldest university in Germany. I guess Tübingen is to Heidelberg like Cambridge is to Oxford. I wonder if the rivalry is as fierce 😅
Thinking of Venice while in this tropical heat. . This picture was taken last month when I was crossing my favourite bridge, excitedly pointing out Galleria dell'Accademia which has a fantastical collection of Italian Renaissance art.
Guilty pleasures. 🍊 and heart-dotted pajamas ❤️ . Heathrow finds: no reveal so far as I've been quite jet lagged and busy writing grant applications, and also considering applying for a job at the Gates Foundation. It is based in Seattle, so I'm not very sure 😊 . I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!
