I don’t post much about this side of my life, but it’s something I’m passionate about and spend a lot of time doing. I’ve done all sorts of weight training, which I still do, but nothing has ever been as exciting and challenging for me as calisthenics. A lot of movements and holds are derived from gymnastics, so it’s a true test of what our bodies are capable under its own strength. Like any type of training, it’s all about the mentality, and my trainer and friend @liam_chosen has reinforced the belief that creating a warrior inside the gym also translates to the life outside of the gym as well.
When you see yourself achieving things you never thought physically possible, it strengthens confidence and the belief that no goals are really too far out of reach. Nothing will happen without putting in work, and I know that if I fail I can get back up and dust it off. You’re only defeated when you beleive you can’t, but god damnit, get up and fight.
