#fbf to the last Dodger game I went to. Headed to Dodger Stadium to celebrate The FERN!!! happy birthday to my dad, you guys already know he's the best..... but for those of you who don't..... My dad was born in Guadalajara, Mexico along with a few of his brothers and sisters. The others were born in the states. My dad came to the US when he was 4 years old and has lived in Los Angeles ever since. Him and his family have built and owned a restaurant in Santa Monica that's been there for over 40 years. They've contributed to their community and have been stand up citizens for as long as they've been here. I don't want to get too deep into this, but all this is to just point out that there are people like me and my family who would be affected by getting rid of programs like DACA or simply just deporting undocumented citizens. Thankfully, my dad was able to become a citizen, but shit would be WAAAAY different for us if he hadn't. Anyway, just sharing info in order to make people see that undocumented immigrants aren't horrible people. They work their asses off to be here.
