So here's my @rp_transformations pic. July-October. Only 10 pounds difference, but went from 19% to 15% body fat (bodpod scan). Cannot say enough amazing things about @rpstrength templates. Life changing. I just wish I'd found it sooner. I work my ass off in the gym but my food choices weren't always great. I had the mindset if I just worked harder, I'd get the results I wanted. Wrong. Instead, I changed a few things about my eating habits and the timing of my food and continued to work the same. Very pleased with the results and enjoying the maintenance phase. Huge thanks to @chefkevinnelson for doing my meal preps. We all know I can't cook and his food is delicious and it saves me so much time. And thank you thank you thank you @anna_may_photography for capturing some awesome and fun photos.

Beans are the next in the list of foods that are viewed as protein sources, when in fact their protein content is not-so-high when compared to their dominant macronutrient, in this case carbs.

Beans contain, on average, over 20 % protein but also over 60 % carb. They also have a ton of fiber, so they make a great carb source, the protein being a bonus.
#
Just to clarify things once again, don’t mistake this for us saying the protein from beans is useless, wasted or doesn’t count towards your daily protein intake. It does. However, if someone wants a protein source *only*, then there are better options out there, even if we talk about vegetal sources.

Not the easiest thing to share but this is @rpstrength progress pics. From the start of doing rp strength (June 20th, 2016) to today (January 22nd, 2017). I started on the templates and moved to 1-on-1 with Alex Harrison. Working to drop to 53 kg weight class. It's always nice to see progress over time. I've put in a lot of work and am excited to see what's next :) @rp_transformations

Changing your food volume is a great way to impact your satiety levels.
#
Greek yogurt is an excellent source of high-quality protein and due to its varying fat content can be easily adapted to fit everyone’s goals.
#
One very straightforward application of this is when we are trying to lose fat. Given that fat content doesn’t significantly affect volume (how much food we get per calorie), we can simply switch regular greek yogurt (which can have up to 10 % fat) with a fat free one, thus getting the same amount (or often higher) of protein while slashing off a significant amount of calories.
#
Of course, this concept works the opposite way too. If someone struggles with consuming sufficient calories, switching to a higher fat greek yogurt can be a simple way to get in more calories without having to consume more food.

Remember to count all macros in dairy for your diet template!
