Seven years ago, a scared yet hopeful 17-year old high school senior started a soap company. The first month running, She sold six soaps. Six. In 30 days. The next year after graduation, all of her friends went to college and she kept trying to sell soap. She made 42 sales that year. That WHOLE year. Many many tears of frustration were shed, the isolation of feeling so different and weird weighed heavy on her shoulders. She wanted to quit. Her mother wouldn’t let her. (thanks @bonniewhite_thequeen ) In 2013, she tripled her sales and thought the world had been handed to her on a silver platter. She designed every label, wrote a thank you note on every single packing slip and sealed it in wax, and started a YouTube channel so she could participate in the @soapchallengeclub . Flash forward 5 years and three speaking events later and that girl is now a grown woman with a husband, baby, and a business that supports not only herself but her grown siblings. Now, she can’t make enough soap..
I’m absolutely overwhelmed and humbled as I reflect tonight on the Royalty Soaps’ journey. It is my absolute honor and privilege to serve the royal court and help each and every person who opens up a package or views a video feel happy. Thank you to the individuals and companies who have contributed to my success and to my wonderful family and true friends for seeing my vision and making it yours too. ❤️
