there was more energy on the streets today than at any time during the campaign. this tells me 2 things: 1 - the millions of americans who voted for someone other than trump, including 66 million hillary voters and 7.8 million who voted for a third party candidate, have just found their voice in a way they never did during the abomination of a race; and 2 - trump is going to have a hell of a fight on his hands when he starts trying to roll back healthcare or abortion rights or tries to deport millions of immigrants. that's 74 million voters who voted for someone else. trump is going to find out how much power the people really have over the next 4 years. we didn't have to pay as much attention under obama. and now we do. and we're just getting warmed up.
