On this beautiful Bay Area Saturday, let’s take a moment to honor those who have put their lives on the line for our freedom. June is PTSD Awareness Month, and I am honored to support my colleague - and friend - @leigh_martinez_ktvu as she celebrates the legacy of her late brother by helping to raise awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. While PTSD has affected our military heroes for generations, it often doesn't get the attention it deserves, and those who struggle with PTSD often have challenges getting the help that they need.
Let’s make a difference by spreading the word about PTSD and treatment. We can all do our part by letting our heroes know that they are supported after they return home, and that their service is appreciated.
June 27th is PTSD Awareness Day. The goal is to make PTSD trend on social media. 🎗🇺🇸
