So it was a late one for me last night, worked a 12 at the hospital and had to run home to do some errands and take care of my puppy 😊. Anyway, I actually wrote this last night cause I wanted to share with you guys the fresh emotions I felt coming out of the fucking gym instead of writing about it "tomorrow". Or today? 🤔🤔😂😂. It was one of the best gym days I've ever had. Everything was there; energy, intensity, power, focus, and connection. It was the kinda day us bodybuilders dream about. Best part is that it happened coming off an exhausting, looooonnggggg day. My back was against the wall, I knew it was going to be a long gym day and I already felt the weight of the day on my shoulders. But before I went inside the gym, I sat in my car for a minute, shut my eyes, and told myself: "When I open my eyes, it's fucking game on!" Life lesson: Sometimes that adversity or uncomfortableness we feel can bring out extraordinary things in us. Embrace it, be extraordinary.
