This is the endo challenge happening right now. Right now I'm struggling. And the ironic part is the main causes of stress currently in my life aren't to do with my condition. But endometriosis doesn't have an off button, so everyday I still have to contend with it alongside other difficult factors. It's fantastic that @theendo.co are running this campaign. In recent months talking to a variety of strong women, I can't believe how many other women are also suffering with endometriosis, or have loved ones with suspected endometriosis. That said, it still isn't being talked about enough. I've even had doctors not know the word endometriosis. I had doctors mis-diagnose me. I had the operation again to find I was riddled with endometrial cells at the age of 23. Not all of it could be removed and I have the cells and scar tissue around my spine causing an array of issues with my body. At times it is so so scary. Let's talk about our wombs, let's talk about the womb lining not where it should be, let's talk about scar tissue, let's talk about fertility or the struggle with it, let's talk about depression, let's talk about chronic pain. No one should suffer in silence. To those I've tagged it would be great if you join the challenge to spread awareness, duplicate the black and white photo and ask yourself who is the one in ten that you know? @theendo.co .
