I am very pleased to announce that I going back to Antarctica!!!!! (4 days in Torres Del Paine Patagonia Chile, before flying into Falkland islands and making Voyage to South Georgia down to Antarctica on Shackleton trail) A much longer route then the first Voyage but South Georgia is in every nature Photographers dream)) I have always dreamed of going to Antarctica on photo assignment, in 2016 my very close friend Ira Meyer helped me achieve that dream. Antarctica changed my entire perspective on life, not only was able to truly let go of things that were weighing me down but more importantly It ignited fire inside me to seek out adventure, nature, culture, and everything else this beautiful world has to offer. Antarctica showed me how insignificant we really are to the world we live in and yet how fragile it all is.. Antarctica introduced to some of the most amazing and influential people in my life and I cannot be more thankful and appreciative to have these people in my life. The unconditional love and support of these friendships is honestly the greatest gift I could have ever asked for. I don't believe in luck or chance after the accident and I'm not waiting around for it. What i do believe in is determination, compassion, and integrity. With enough of those three things I believe the possibilities are endless and having a dream is only the beginning.
Self Portrait:66.8* below the Antarctic Circle my first steps in Antarctica. Special thanks to Julia Simmerling for pressing the shutter as I climbed the Icy backside of this Iceberg inside the flat ice. 🙂
