" Wait a minute Doc, are you telling me you built a time machine... out of a Hogwarts Express train?" The winners has been revealed at Funko Fundays and I am glad to announce that my work was picked as 4th Place Winner by Funko CEO Brian Marrioti out of many entries that were submitted worldwide.
I am just glad to be selected as one of the winners regardless of the place.
Inspired by Doc Emmett Brown, using trash as a fuel on Mr. Fusion. For this custom, I decided to use unconventional materials - toothpicks, chopsticks, bottle of mayonnaise, headphone wires and some empty paint bottles - which for me works with how it looks.

For the custom Doc Brown 1885 vinyl Pop! figure, I used the "West World" Man In Black Head and "Fantastic Beast" Percival Graves Body as the base. I added sculpted eyebrows and hair. Bowtie on the body with Apoxie Sculpt. Everything was carefully hand painted with acrylic paints.
All of my efforts paid off when I saw the the whole train done the way I wanted it to be... especially after installing 890 pieces of rivets all through the train! It was truly a satisfying feeling and I am glad to finally share this piece to all of you.

I am proud to reveal my official entry for the Funko Fundays Custom Contest! "Doc Emmett Brown 1885 with Jules Verne Train Time Machine Pop! Ride" Took me almost a month to finish this project. The winners will be revealed on July 22, and will be judged by Funko's CEO Brian Marriotti.

Here's the 360° view of my R2-D2 Custom Pop! Figure with Rotating Head piece.

Here's the before and after side by side comparison with the original Funko Pop C2-B5 and my final custom piece.

“Beep Bleep Bleep Bloop” - R2D2

One of the most iconic Star Wars droid, R2-D2! Funko's first release of R2-D2 lacks detail and just too plain simple. Last year they released an exclusive R2-D2 with tray and drinks from the Jabba’s Sail Barge scene. That version of R2 is a brand new mold, and has more details and line panels. Which is the same mold used on C2-B5 Rogue One release.

Since I wanted to do my own version of R2, I used the C2-B5 as the base figure, cut the dome part and body in half. removed the bobble effect spring and made my own rotating peg inside. I’m so relieved that my idea worked well and now you can turn R2’s dome head 360!
