slowly getting back to everything… …designing a garment that I would love to wear myself and working with beautiful, natural quality yarn! …taking the time to enjoy every step… …all of that while enjoying nice things around me on my overflowing desk… 😊
Thanks to @naturesluxury for sponsoring their beautiful yarn for this project and of course to all the incredible and wonderful testers, that made it possible to provide you all with usable instructions to this project … 🤩 (read more about it on my blog - link is in profile)
Last breakfast in Edinburgh... in my very own tradition: Chocolate Abyss tea and Eggs Benedict with salmon at my beloved window seat! It was (as always with this city) a very unique and cathartic experience... I always have left Scotland a very different person with answers in my pocket. Answers to questions I didn‘t know concretely or dared to even pose. It’s like this city knows!!!! One just has to listen carefully... ... #Edinburgh#EYF18#eteaket#breakfast#tea # #tuesdaymusings
After more than 3 years I finally decided that I need to change my hair! Thankfully Scots are super cool and there wasn’t a problem with me popping in without an appointment! Let’s see what will come out of it... #cuttingHair#medusa#edinburgh#breadstreet
I also had my share yesterday in consumerism and non-minimalism... but I tried to invest more consciously in “honest yarn”, as a lovely friend called it aptly! There was quite a lot of this kind to be found these last days: Not necessarily at the shiny front of the battle, but (still) there... not too far off: Hidden beside the limelight ones... My choice is by no means representative, but you can see that I found another great Scandinavian yarn #rauma and yarn from the wonderful small US farm #pradodelana. The first one I got in the really beautiful shop that #ysolda had inside of EYF (together with the nice tote bag and the needle-size thingy you see in the pic). Oh... and there also was this cute project bag by #lacerisesurlegateau in powder pink!
