So incredibly excited for this one! Directed by (the fave) Richard Linklater, this spiritual sequel to 'Dazed and Confused' will no doubt leave us with that same humorous, yet poignant nostalgia his other films have. {poster by @mondotees}#everybodywantssome #richardlinklater #filmsyoushouldsee #filmsushouldsee

It's Impossible to Learn to Plow by Reading Books, released in 1988 - the first feature film by #RichardLinklater "With Learn to Plow, Rick created a film that was both extremely realistic and painfully poetic. There wasn’t a false note, and I never felt as if I were watching acting or actors. These were real people and this was real life, and I cared deeply about them and it.
I tell my students that movies are about motion and emotion, and Rick’s film fits these criteria completely. Of course, time and history have borne out my first judgment, and Rick has gone on to make some wonderful movies. The seeds for these films were sown in It’s Impossible to Learn to Plow by Reading Books". Monte Hellman

I must confess, I was kinda of sad with the academy choice of not recognize Richard'd work and the great masterpiece that is Boyhood... But, in the other hand, the movie is too beautiful and delicate so it should float freely in time and space... It is such a great masterpiece that an award is totally unnecessary... It is beyond this industry and touches our souls... In my opinion, it was the academy who lost the opportunity to be linked with this great movie!! Time will tell!!! #boyhood #richardlinklater
