Try this:
20 pull press rotations each side.
10 alternating side planks with 5 sec holds.
10 sled rotations each side.

@lekubes Killing it once again. Firing up that core and adding some power into the mix.
First we start with some explosive pull press rotations, key here is to fire those hips first followed by torso, lead arm then finally trail arm catches the rope and explodes the rest of the torso down.

Second some alternating side planks. You can play with the time intervals here. We did 10 reps (both sides= 1) with 5 second holds. Make sure to keep the shoulder stable and the hip high during these. No slouching.

Third up, some rotary sled pulls. Great burn out down our 40 yard track. Make sure to drive through your trail leg and lead with your torso not your arms. We did 10 reps then switched sides 2x down the track.

•Explosive alternating single arm sled pulls•
This is a fantastic exercise to work on A) explosive power B) anti-Rotation.
The process is simple. Squat down deep and drive through your legs. As your driving up proceed with a single arm row. Then repeat with the alternate hand.
Try to get deep and rip open the floor as you go through the squat. As you row try to keep your torso as solid as possible, DO NOT ROTATE.
For an external cue try adding #kband to really get those glutes firing.

So just a little follow up on Jon's progress. We had been working super hard on trying to develop his core stabilizers A) because I really want to start getting him into a crawl position and B) we he practices his walking I really want his spine to be stable.
I challenged him today and bet him he could do a sit up. So I braced his ankles and had him hold onto a bar for some pattern assistance. The guy bangs out 4 sit ups first try. I believe I saw his mother's jaw drop to the floor. She never told me a month ago he wasn't even able to sit up unsupported on the floor.
I'm incredibly proud of this guy. Just proof hard work pays off. Being golf or an unforeseen life change, hard work is hard work. You will be rewarded in the end.

Here is another variation of the "bear crawl". Lateral Bear Crawls are great for core stabilization. We kicked it up a notch here adding a #kband around the thighs and #minibands around the wrist. Key here is to keep your spine neutral and your scapula pulled down.

Sometimes a client comes in who opens up your eyes and sometimes a client comes in and inspires the hell out of you. Jon here has done both for me. Two years ago he suffered a Level 4 brain aneurism at 38 years old. This sort of stuck with me since I'm 35 with two amazing kids. Jon was a referral from another client and I was glad to accept the challenge. Little did I know he has taught me in just a few months A) not to take things in life for granted, you never know. I love to teach clients how to control their spine. It is especially satisfying when they have that "ah ha" moment where they realize "damn, my spine ain't moving" then "holy shit, it's moving". ____________________________________________Here we see Jaqui having some limited pelvic tilting going on, then corrected when stabilizing her upper body. Once we got her to feel that she has the mobility we put her on her hands and knees. It is important to teach your clients how to attain neutral Spine. The cue is -----> arch, round, arch, find half way between. From there we used an external cue (2 lb med ball on her lumbar Spine) and tried to keep Spine neutral through a set of quadrupeds._______________________________

@lekubes getting sloshed this morning. We used the #Sloshbag to create some instability in his workout. We first started with half kneeling shoulder press focusing on Spine neutral. Then we went to Slosh dead bugs followed by bent knee slosh press. Then some squat presses and finished with some plank bag pulls.____________________________________________________________________________________If you haven't tried yet definitely get a sloshbag and play around with it. Something as simple as standing on one leg can be amplified by just holding this thing. Definitely puts your brain into overdrive and gets those stabilizers firing.

Another part of the @mytpi screen is the Pelvic Rotation Test. You can tell a lot from the screens that we perform. In this case you can see Larry here had poor rotation in his hips, but when stabilized you can see his rotation improves drastically. Hence now we know he has a stability problem since we can see his pelvis does rotate meaning he has mobility.
Luckily I had a video from the previous week while we were whacking away at the range. You can see since he has poor Pelvic Rotation it leads to some swing flaws. The two main ones that stuck out were the Reverse Spine Angle and Sway. I can almost guarantee if I took a video down the line he also would have Early Extension and Over the Top. Also, if you look closely you can see Casting, Scooping and a Chicken Wing.

Wayne here came in a few months back complaining that his lower back hurts after a round of golf. When I asked what a typical day was for him he replied "I am in the office at 4:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Thursday sitting at a desk, Friday 4:30am-2:30 then golf". When put through @mytpi pelvic tilt test you can see he has some mobility but a lot of shake and bake action. (Video 1). When I asked him to hold onto a bench in front of him (video 2) you see his mobility drastically improved. From this test we see that Wayne has decent mobility of the lumbar spine but lacks the stability. Through proper program design (and being a good student doing his homework) Wayne's back pain has drastically diminished and has noticeably been playing a more solid round of golf.
This is why we test our clients before we train them.
