Day 1 of learning how to do my first Olympic weightlifting move - The snatch.
But before we snatch we must overhead squat.

Here's the final clip of me overhead squatting, obviously it's not perfect but I'm proud of my form and look forward to seeing how it progresses over the coming months.

With this move mobility is key, so on top of practising this move I will be working on my shoulder, ankle and hip mobility.

First time deadlifting in 2 months..
Top tip - if you enjoy deadlifting and pretty much moving around pain free day to day than making sure you do your mobility work is very important.

The reason I haven't deadlifted in so long is that I've had a very tight upper back due to not stretching enough and not working on flexibility and mobility. .
Seriously happy to start deadlifting again and taking all that I've learnt through my injury to prevent any future ones.
