With so many people wanting to update and change their makeup routine, I wanted to make a post talking about one of the main concerns that come up.
The number one concern is makeup looking too heavy and unnatural on the skin. Here are some tips and products I recommend! 🙋🏻♀️😍
•First take a look at what type of coverage your current foundation has. Is it described from the company as being a medium-full coverage? If it is a higher coverage foundation think if that’s actually what you want / need.
•You may be thinking well what if someone deals with acne or pigmentation? I almost always use a light to medium coverage foundation, and then I go in with a full coverage concealer and SPOT conceal those areas.
•Using a foundation that has light coverage and that actually has a skin like finish is key. A natural and cruelty free option is @elatecosmetics Fresh tint. I have these in my kit as my main foundations, it is a personal favourite.
•Another option is @fitglowbeauty Vita active foundation. It’s a medium coverage foundation that also has a lot of skin care ingredients added to it, that benefit skin that has pigmentation. Another good option is @iliabeauty true skin serum foundation.
•You have to remember that your applying foundation on your whole face and down the neck. If you are applying product that has too much coverage for what you need it’s going to be too heavy and also give the finished appearance of your makeup to be heavy.
