It's so long that I had to continue it in the comments, but I promise it's interesting.🤡
Go back with me about a month. I'm talking with my friend about how I'm wanting to start using oils. We both agree that they sound super awesome, but, like, really do they work? Or is it just exaggerated by the people who are *super into them* and sell them. ⏭Fast forward like a week and I order my first #doterra starter kit (the AromaTouch kit) from the genius that is @theoilgeek (she shows up again later). Kit gets here, super awesome, diffuse stuff. ✌🏻
⏭Fast forward another week and a few days and I'm at a one day women's conference at church with my mom and sister. After lunch I start to feel... not great. I'm dizzy, lightheaded, and my torso hurts. The only way to describe it is like my ribs were stabbing my organs. Literally that's it 🤷🏽♀️ so I deal with it a few days because, believe it or not, this has happened before. I'm uncomfortable Monday-Wednesday, so I go into my chiropractor and get adjusted. That takes care of the ribs-stabbing-organs pain, but then I realize there were two things going on, and the second thing stayed. The pain from my whole torso has now migrated to my lower right side and intensified.
So now it's Thursday and I'm struggling. Every time I move (especially when I lift my right leg) I get a sharp stabbing pain in my stomach to the left of my right hip bone and sometime right below my sternum. Really weird. I can function, but it friggin hurts. So Thursday afternoon and I have done my best not to move all day. I've been chugging water and, since I have minor experience with essential oils, I've been putting Deep Blue on the area and OnGuard (never used it before but I figured it couldn't hurt) on the bottoms of my feet. I go into my chiropractor and tell him what's going on. He does his best to figure out what it is, but he says he's really not sure because he's not an MD. Could be my gallbladder, might be my appendix. And then HELL FREEZES OVER AND HE TELLS ME TO GO SEE A DOCTOR. I've been going to this guy since I can remember, at least 10 years, and never *once* has he ever said that to me. So now I'm freaking out ~obviously~.
