Although I'm a day late...#happynationalsiblingsday I love that you're my brother, teacher, friend, and a man in my life that has always wanted the best for me. You're sometimes few on words, but you have such truth to your words you always show me another way to think about something especially people! I love you @josica1304 thank you for always loving me even from the time all I wanted to do was play Nintendo in your room and skateboard with your friends.

To be surrounded by men and woman shouting USA and ushering in a new hope for our nation was something I will never forget. In the closing words of our president, "At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other. When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice...there should be no fear!" #makeamericagreatagain #washingtondc #inauguration2017 #proudamerican #trump #america

Don't buy from @nestlepurelifeusa - they steal water from California aquifers, fluoridate it, bottle it up & sell it for max profits that they do not pay their fair share of taxes on.

The current Chairman and former CEO of Nestlé, the largest producer of food products in the world, believes that the answer to global water issues is privatization. This statement is on record from the wonderful company that has peddled junk food in the Amazon, has invested money to thwart the labeling of GMO-filled products, has a disturbing health and ethics record for its infant formula, and has deployed a cyber army to monitor Internet criticism and shape discussions in social media.

This is apparently the company we should trust to manage our water, despite the record of large bottling companies like Nestlé having a track record of creating shortages:

Large multinational beverage companies are usually given water-well privileges (and even tax breaks) over citizens because they create jobs, which is apparently more important to the local governments than water rights to other taxpaying citizens.
These companies such as Coca Cola and Nestlé (which bottles suburban Michigan well-water and calls it Poland Spring) suck up millions of gallons of water, leaving the public to suffer with any shortages.
But Chairman, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, believes that “access to water is not a public right.” Nor is it a human right. So if privatization is the answer, is this the company in which the public should place its trust?

Here is just one example, among many, of his company’s concern for the public thus far:

In the small Pakistani community of Bhati Dilwan, a former village councilor says children are being sickened by filthy water. Who’s to blame? He says it’s bottled water-maker Nestlé, which dug a deep well that is depriving locals of potable water. “The water is not only very dirty, but the water level sank from 100 to 300 to 400 feet,” Dilwan says.
Why? Because if the community had fresh water piped in, it would deprive Nestlé of its lucrative market in water bottled under the Pure Life brand.

It's one thing to lament the inhumaine treatment of First Nation land & people by colonial forces, its another to stand by and watch it happen in your lifetime. America owes it to itself to heed & hear these voices. Your ecological concerns were their's to begin with & any power or force risen against them/us is a testament to the bullshit we glorify & practice. Why taint precious waterways for oil dependency in 2016? If your technology can't help you recognize ancient wisdom then it ain't progress you're after - its regressive tactics with no concern for the actual future. #standingrock #nodapl #waterislife #istandwithstandingrock 💙#imsorryformynation #oilisnotwhoistandbehind #yourvictoryiscoming

This is what I work for! This is a huge step forward! Don't get consumed by only what the news is showing there is so much more out there outside of our little space! P.S I will still not be buying nestle products...EVER! Chocolate, water and everything nestle produces is not worth someone's life. #Repost @conscious__connect720 with @repostapp
@Regrann from @consciousconnect720 - @Regrann from @candicemuhammad - @tinkinity - The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected a bid by Nestle SA, the world's largest food maker, and two other companies to throw out a lawsuit seeking to hold them liable for the use of child slaves to harvest cocoa in Ivory Coast.

The high court left in place a December 2014 ruling by the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that refused to dismiss a lawsuit against Nestle, Archer-Daniels-Midland Co and Cargill Inc filed by former victims of child slavery.

The plaintiffs, who were originally from Mali, contend the companies aided and abetted human rights violations through their active involvement in purchasing cocoa from Ivory Coast. While aware of the child slavery problem, the companies offered financial and technical assistance to local farmers in a bid to guarantee the cheapest source of cocoa, the plaintiffs said.

The case focused in part on how lower court judges have interpreted a 2013 Supreme Court decision that made it harder for plaintiffs to sue corporations in U.S. courts for abuses alleged to have occurred overseas.
