#Repost @archdigest - thank you @amytastley @michaelreynoldsnyc @mayer.rus for featuring @nikolaihaas’ and @djunabel ‘s beautiful home. We are thrilled to be a part of @thehaasbrothers’ journey.
In the fairy-tale Los Angeles abode of designer @nikolaihaas and fashion stylist @djunabel, nothing is too precious. “The house is meant to be lived in and enjoyed,” says Bel. Hints that the space was crafted by a Haas are not hard to find. There are signature @thehaasbrothers designs throughout, including the hand-carved walnut furniture in the kitchen, ceramic accretion vases with porcelain slip, and bronze sculptures that look strangely similar to the Road Runner’s feet. Haas himself handcrafted the voluptuous walnut column on the upper stair landing and the footed bed in the master suite (pictured here), the concrete pizza oven in the outdoor kitchen, and the whimsical frog-faced toilet seat in the pink powder room. “We’re both really open to each other’s taste,” Bel says of the home’s bohemian-luxe aesthetic. Many of the choicest furnishings—including a Wendell Castle mirror, a Sergio Rodrigues lounge chair, and Jeff Zimmerman glass light fixtures (one seen here above)—came from @randcompanynyc, the decorative-arts dealer that represents the Haas Brothers. “@evansnyderman and @zestym have supported us all through our crazy ride, so it’s great to have pieces that are connected to them. Everything in the house comes from a place of love, which is really cool,” Haas notes. In the master suite, a custom cashmere quilt by the @theelderstatesman covers a walnut bed by Haas and a Jeff Zimmerman glass pendant hangs above. Visit the link in our bio to see more of the home. Our Booth A2 @TheSalonNY @ParkAveArmory highlights Joaquim Tenreiro's dining table with a set of 6 chairs originally designed for a private commission in Copacabana, Brazil in 1960.

"New Works by Jeff Zimmerman" is on display at the upper level of our 64 White Street gallery through December 21. Jeff's hand-blown glass sculptural lighting and objects are inspired by nature and molecular biology. This hand-blown glass vessel with applied crystals was created this year.

@Pierre.Yovanovitch's "MAD" Armchair is made to order and at our Booth A2 @TheSalonNY @ParkAveArmory through Monday 12 November. Designed earlier this year in Paris, the chair is made of hand-carved oak, upholstered by @AteliersJouffre in Lyon pictured with his "MAD" stool designed in 2017.

Guess which Italian design magazine from #RArchives we’re highlighting this week? Here are three hints: •

1. Founded in 1928 and still in publication today, this magazine focuses on new technologies and materials that could be used in product design, interior design and architecture⠀

2. The bold covers’ futuristic influences suggest an optimistic trajectory for society, design and everyday consumers during the period.⠀

3. In January 1954 it was under the direction of Ernesto Nathan Rogers (of Architetti BBPR, the #torrevelasca and @domusweb )⠀
