‪Happy St. Patrick's Day! ☘️‬

Congratulations Deputy Harm on your retirement and being sworn in as a Reserve Deputy. You will be missed but we’ll still see you around.

Yesterday, Chief Mahoney from RCPD swore in 12 new explorers to Post 501. Congratulations to our #futureleaders #RCCommUNITY

‪Thank you to the @ranchochamber and @cityofranchocucamonga for hosting the Fire and Police Recognition Luncheon. Personnel from RCPD and @rancho_cucamonga_fire_district were honored today. What a great event to be a part of!‬

Each year @staterbrosinc hosts a golf tournament for the Medal of Honor recipients. The RCPD Traffic Division has the privilege to escort the honorees from the Ontario Airport to the Mission Inn in Riverside.
U.S. Army First Lt. James A. Taylor, U.S. Army Spc. Fourth Class Robert M. Patterson, U.S. Army PFC James C. McCloughan, and wounded warrior U.S. Army retired Cpl. Chad Pfeifer, THANK YOU for your service!

Yesterday, Deputy Baxter helped the Crime Prevention Unit with a tour for the #unitedchristianacademy. These first graders had so much fun asking questions about his motorcycle and his uniform.

‪On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, the @cityofranchocucamonga recognized RCPD Detective Ixco and Deputy Wallen at the City Council meeting for receiving the Medal of Valor on February 20, 2018. Very proud of our guys!‬

Our thoughts and prayers are with @pomonapd and the family of the officer killed in the line of duty last night. Two Pomona officers were shot last night, one officer did not survive. The second officer is in stable condition. We are praying for a speedy recovery. Rest easy brother. ⚫️⚫️💙💙⚫️⚫️

Day 2: Every 15 Minutes

Today students who participated in the program were reaped from their classroom. An obituary, written by the students family, was read to the class describing the drunk driving collision that claimed the student's lives. A mock notification was given to each parent, making the program as realistic as possible. A traffic collision was staged, where two students died, and one was arrested.
The program resumes tomorrow.
