One of my favorite alternate squat exercise๐Ÿ‘ after learning about my hip impingement I had to start thinking of exercises that still have a squat movement involved where I donโ€™t experience pain in my hip. For years I have just loaded weight on my back and fought through the pain I experienced during back squats. The pain has now become almost unbearable so I have started my hunt for alternative exercises which still give me the same effect as a loaded back squat.! Theme of my leg workout tonight: UNILATERAL WORK ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ฅ everyone should do some variation of unilateral work! Itโ€™s great for muscle imbalances, builds core stability, and best of all builds a resistance for possible future injuries. My entire workout was based off of all unilateral exercises. Exercises shown: cable lateral lunges, prisoner extensions (single leg back extensions).
