A valuable lesson I re-learned in my vinyasa class today. Don't do a pose because your teacher said so (or because you saw it in IG), and you end up struggling or worse... injuring yourself. You listen to your body and you modify the pose/use props or maybe use the wall - that's real yoga right there.

On trainings, this would not be My PB. But on race day - it is. Didn't expect to be stuck in the middle of breaststroke swimmers (wrong position on swim start); Picked up my pace on 1.5km based on my legs (so late! So weak haha!) but still a strong happy finish. Thing is, don't expect everything you had planned on race day will happen - it won't ;-) #buhayatleta #metasprint #aquathlon
