Taught a private yoga session today. It's in these moments when I feel the most gratitude. When I feel the most connected. These moments reaffirm my passion for helping people get reconnected and reacquainted with themselves, raising their awareness, and helping them to understand the true definition of embodiment. πŸ’š

My vision....hmmm...It goes back to me being "raw, unpolished, uncut, and real." Maybe that is the starting point for my work. To show the deeper, vulnerable sides to self-care and self-love. To bring light to the darker sides that people are unsure of, the areas that are sometimes uncomfortable to acknowledge and witness. Creating and allowing space for personal transformation and being a witness to each unique journey to embodiment. That is where I will be. That is where I want to walk with you. πŸ’šπŸŒΏ

//FASTING AS SELF-CARE// When I woke up this morning I felt horrible. I'm not sick anymore, but I felt so gross in my body. I'm bloated, I feel heavy both physically and energetically, and I'm incredibly disconnected from my self. πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Upon waking, which happened at 7:30 (when my alarm was set for 6), I decided that I'm fasting today. No food, just water and herbal tea. 24 hours. Well, a little bit longer actually since I won't eat until tomorrow and my last meal was Wednesday evening. 🍝

Let me tell you: it's been an interesting day. Cravings coming and going, a headache, waves of energy followed by lethargy. It has been an eye opening day. I'm realizing that my call to fast today IS NOT ABOUT THE FOOD, but it's about the deeper disconnection from myself. I have emotions that are surfacing, thoughts that I've pushed aside, and intense clarity. You can watch my Insta story for a bit more insight into my fast today. 🌿

As I'm going able my evening, there will be gentle yoga, more meditation, and detox tea from @yogitea. my energy is shifting and slowing down, and I will continue to honor my body. πŸ™πŸ» ⭐️⭐️Fasting is NOT for everyone, and it's not something to be done with little to no thought. I've fasted before, so I know what my base reactions will be. I've also been to my doctors recently, so I know where I am in regards to my health.⭐️⭐️ Your turn: have you fasted before? Do you ever feel recharged after being sick?

I can feel that I'm on the mend, I've turned the corner, my body is healing. I've been noticing this morning that even though I feel a bit disconnected from my purpose and passion, I'm feeling called to reconnect with my deeper sense of being of service.

Purpose + passion + mission + service.
What am I being called to be, to offer, to create space for? I don't have the answers yet, but I know that by connecting to my inner self, I will find the guidance, and I will share my journey with you. πŸ™πŸ»βœ¨
