Happy Friday!🎄♥️I have been pushing myself lately to switch up my menu, as you know eggs are my goto breakfast and I eat avocado every single day!
.
Switching up things can be a good thing for several reasons: to prevent food intolerances, get a variety of different nutrients and different healthy bugs from foods! Besides using up all the things I’ve got in stock before they go bad😂
.
Today I slept in and feels great, I’m choosing the @bhufoods giveaway winner in a couple of minutes so keep on eye on that!

First meal of the day: @lifewaykefir whole mill kefir + some grain free granola that got to the bottom of the kefir + @bhufoods keto cookie

Have you ever tried nopal AKA cactus? 🌵

Some people dislike the taste but I think it taste more like lettuce but with different texture. Adds a pretty good amount of fiber in plenty of dishes: salads, juices etc.

Just before I took a bite of this the door bell rang, as I opened the door Franky ran away. .
So I had to ran after him in my socks around all the neighborhood!🌳 He was playing hard to get, running and jumping like a little dear 🦌 He looked so cute and funny but I was so mad at him!

The way to get him was to act like we were going on a walk out of the neighborhood just where the main doors are and caught that sneaky dog!🐶
.
Something that didn’t made me mad was this food🤤 Turkey breast, salad, @qrunchorganics quinoa burger, @primalkitchenfoods mayo and @yaisthai salsa

Lazy breakfast picture got much better with a cute model showing up🐶

Since I’m on vacations and the winter started this guy has been always with me like, he’s still a puppy (7 months old) and his company has been so nice. Although he still does some mess around the house😬

COCONUT GINGER BITES🥥are up in the blog right now! No food processor or oven needed😉

These bites turned out SUPER soft even though they are frozen! A secret ingredient was key, tasteless BUT gamechanger!

Vegan and paleo! Ingredients include: acorn, coconut flour, secret ingredient, ginger, cinnamon and stevia!

This was sooooo good! My fast food version; jalapeño chicken burger, @rollingreens basil millet tots, roasted veggies, @yaisthai (can’t stop), and @kitehillfoods jalapeño cream cheese.

Heading over to have some tea or coffee with a friend that I haven’t talk to for 3 years! Crazy. Cheers for old friends and time🙌🏼

How do you like your salmon: Skinless or with the Skin?🐟

Personally I’m not a bug fan of the taste but I eat it from time to time, some benefits of eating the skin is that has a major amount of omega 3 fatty acids (which can reduce triglycerides in the blood, brain health and has a great anti inflammatory property), vitamins B and D with some minerals too like phosphorus and niacin.🧠
.
Tip: look for wild caught salmons from the Atlantic Ocean, they are less contaminated🌊
.

I definitely like some healthy fats like the ones I used today! A cozy bowl with almond milk, @goodmixfoods with hemp, chia, flax, cacao nibs, coconut and pumpkin seeds, @bubbasfoods vanilla ungranola with almond and coconut and a chopped @healthwarrior cinnamon bar to go with the season🎄♥️

Fresh salad or roasted veggies?🤔

Some people argue that cooking them removes some nutrients but the truth is that there’s no wrong way to eat your veggies. Cooking them can enchant some nutritients and the same goes the other way😉
