I can't pick just one thing! Pure Barre has truly changed my life. The workout is fun and continually a challenge. The instructors are so awesome and encouraging! I have a strong and healthy new body, made lasting friendships, and found a positive outlook on life. After 55 minutes of Pure Barre, any bad vibes I might be harboring that day are totally gone by the final stretch. I always leave the studio smiling and feeling sore in the best way possible. •WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE CLASS?
Any stretch or final 10! Just kidding. I think thigh and seat, even though the instructors I've given dirty looks to during these series would probably disagree! I live for the burn and shake. My boyfriend likes to say we are all a bunch of masochists. But there's no better feeling than making it through a full thigh or seat series without any breaks, and knowing that you're changing your body and growing stronger with each class.
•WHEN AND WHY DID YOU START PURE BARRE?
I found Pure Barre during opening week and was intrigued. Could this really be the low impact exercise my body needed? I was doing HIIT and boot camp classes with little results except for constant knee pain. I signed up on a whim for the pre-opening special without even trying a class! My first class was January 3rd with Marissa. It was SO HARD. The next day, everything was sore - even muscles I didn't know I had! But my knees felt great and I was hooked. I immediately signed up for a full year.
