First cardio session after 2 weeks off. The 150 burpee challenge completely destroyed and demotivated me from doing any more cardio for 2 weeks.
This simple training session was harder than it should have been due to a long time off, having a big weekend of drinking and eating crap.
Going to have to kick my own butt into gear and start doing cardio again.
Also editing my footage properly on editing software this time instead of an app which allows me to actually set up for HD uploads.

A very common question PT’s are asked is “how do I improve my metabolism?”.

There are many variables that impact ones metabolic rate, but the one that doesn’t require too much thought is to simply.. lift weights.
But not just any weight, heavy weight. A weight that you find heavy at your current strength level.

By lifting weights your body responds (under the right conditions) by adding adding muscle mass. The more muscle one has the more calories that person needs to maintain their weight.

This causes an increase in metabolic rate so that your body can process the energy you’re consuming at a faster rate so that you can continue to eat throughout the day without feeling like you’ve eaten a horse.

So to put it simply lift heavy, make gains and shred.

@just_bekka with her 5 year transformation. Over the years Bekk has managed to shed a massive amount of weight, but only was it when she started lifting weights did she really start to see the results she was after.

After 5 months of personal training, following a training plan and really focusing diet around goals, her body is responding to the positive stimulation.
