Final stop in beautiful Whistable was a pub named after my canine brethren, The Black Dog. This micropub has five rotating real ales from local breweries as well as a huge selection of regional ciders and perries. The beer is great but it's the quirky, narrow dimly lit interior that makes this place one to visit. With high tables and benches running along the sides, a crazy red chandelier hanging from the ceiling plus loads of curios littering the walls and bar, I could've spent hours at the Dog sampling beers and admiring the weird and wonderful ornaments. Unfortunately it was time to head back to London. As I sipped my pint of @burningskybeer Plateu I sat back and barked a cheers to Whistable, you've been grand!
