A lot has changed since my last post and I'm ready and excited to share my life journey with you guys. πŸ““Since my last post I've studied my butt off (quite literally, I haven't had a glute day in forever lol). I did all my exams, I auditioned for 1 play (which I didn't get but que sera sera) and 1 short film (which I got a call back for!)
πŸ–I've enrolled in a Hebrew course this summer which I've always wanted to do, I've booked in my driving test FINALLY... sorry mum I swear I will stop making you drive me around πŸš—
β˜€οΈI'm planning on doing a California road trip next month with one of my oldest friends, I'm applying to produce a Shakespeare production at my uni and GUYS I'm signing up for a half marathon this year πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ
So a hell of a lot is going on right now and I'm loving it.
Over the last couple months I've done a lot of thinking and trying to work out why I got "tired" of IG. I started with so much passion and for some reason it didn't feel rewarding anymore and I didn't want to only be defined by fitness. πŸ“±It started to feel fake for me, posting flattering images of myself to show body-gains and only promoting healthy eating when not gonna lie, your gal loves ice cream 🍦. It just was not making me happy. I needed to take a little time to figure out what was the real message behind my content 🌸
πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈOf course I LOVE exercising, weights and #PPSFB (missed you <\3) but what I love about it is not conforming to societies standards, aka being toned, "in shape", and always either battling to lose weight or beating myself up about not having "gains"... I seem to b really loving quotation marks ATM. (Continue in comment below πŸ‘‡πŸΌ)

Hello my lovely Instagram family✨
I'm sorry it's taken me a while to let you know what is going on! I just felt like I needed some time to clear my head 🌷
πŸ’§For the last 2 years I've put my all into creating content for progresspure 🌺 I wanted to learn how to be fit, to curb cravings and how to truly develop a love for exercising. As my account started to grow, that hobby transformed more into a responsibility (a good one!) because I was lucky enough to have connected to enough people who were keen to be involved with my life. And I'm so grateful for you who have done so πŸ’•
Because fitness, health and sharing it on Instagram was a new exciting thing for me I put my absolute all into it. I usually 100% commit to something I enjoy and so I would spend hours emailing people, reaching out to companies, admiring other people accounts and learning as much as I could 🌈
That being said, I've always been conscious that fitness didn't define me and it wasn't something I wanted as a career, just this cool new thing I was into πŸ™ŒπŸΌ
πŸ€I got to the point where I had reached my fitness goals, educated myself, and met some of you amazing women... I've been able to host fitness events in London and NYC, create workout guides and grow my YouTube!! I've been given wonderful opportunities, I've developed my confidence and most importantly, I've learned how to be proud in what I believe ⚑️I'm eternally grateful for having your support through out all this πŸ’›
🌨But somewhere along the way my incessant passion for Instagram, blogging, posting, grew less and less without me realising. I started getting very anxious and stressed, to the point that I would dread logging in to post. I didn't want to let anyone down so kept it up for a really long time β˜”οΈ
❄️I never gave myself a chance to slow down and talk about it because it just seemed like I had to keep at it creating more content with what I had always done: health and fitness. β˜€οΈ I lost my phone on holiday and I honestly felt so relieved to not have the pressure of constantly trying to get a good picture of myself, trying to film a beach workout and sacrifice my time with the people I was... πŸ‘‡πŸΌCONTINUE IN COMMENTS πŸ‘‡πŸΌ
