Feeling so nostalgic seeing all these 10 year photos, digging thru the old facebook took me down memory lane to visit some fun times, cherished memories, and old friends. I still can't believe I can say that ten years ago I started my journey by moving to NYC after finishing high school, with the idea of going to art school which never happened. I litterally had no money and no job, I'm still shocked I made it this far... soon after I started modeling, different roads led me down different paths and brought me to where I am today. Eventually met Prince and together we've taken on quite a few undertakings. Fashion lines, starting my own photography, eventually starting @galore which is 6 years old now, and our newest project @lesamishomme who's just a month old. Couldn't be prouder of what we've built. I always used to wonder what It'd be like once Galore was around for 5 years or more... honestly it hasn't gotten any easier (especially facing the nepotism and politics that come along with this industry), but it's exceeded my expectations from anything I've ever imagined. Grateful to have had great support of our close friends and mentors who were there since the beginning and helped us come up. It's been so surreal being able to work with people I have admired and looked up to my whole life. I never wanted a traditional job, I never really wanted to work for anyone else. Somehow this came to be and we continue working towards growing our own little empire... as we still have a long eay to go. I am so grateful to every opportunity I've had in this time. And even more grateful that I get to create things I love for a living. Here's to the next ten years (terrifying to think about) and hoping this inspires someone to take a chance to not settle for the "normal" and pursue their passions. Although I can tell you it does not get easier, it's so worth it. 🖤 .
