For the first time in three years of this fruiting we're getting more than just one blueberry!! Yay!! A good year of rain and dry periods and the addition of a second potted blueberry a couple months ago has done the trick.

Look how fat the big ones are too! 😋

🍽 Easy Healthy Eating Tip ::

Jazz up plain old chicken thighs by simply coating them in organic curry powder and frying in a good fat to create a flavourful crust without any compromise on nutrition!

I use a mild curry powder from @purefoodessentials or the native variety from @thesourcemaroochydore (native one used in this photo) and fry in grass fed tallow or ghee. I usually place the thighs on some slow cooked veggie rice or alongside roasted veg.

Absolutely delicious! 😋 .
A great option when you don't have the time for making curry, or the desire to (like in the warmer months when a curry isn't always ideal), and want flavour + nutrients.

BBQ Sauce made with native Lilly Pilly and no tomato ... Who knew that'd be possible?! I had an idea and it worked. Yay!

I’m out camping by myself at Kenilworth for a couple of days, so I decided to go for a bush walk. 5 trail kms is not the same as 5 street Kms that’s for sure.
Interestingly enough during the first leg of my 1.5 hour walk it seemed to be taking longer than I expected. I started questioning myself... have I missed the turn off, is it worth the effort, maybe I should just turn around, and then sudenly I finally Came to this most amazing place which I was the only one at.
I guess the point of this story is-
For any one on a health, fitness, business or life journey don’t give up! Success and achievement may just be around the corner and it is soo worth it!

Just a few lilly pilly fruit on my urban foraging adventure today..!! Syzygium Fibrosum "rain cherry" is a beautiful native rainforest fruit.

I'll be using this haul for dehydrating, ice block making, cake baking + lots more!

Transitioning to natural living for the benefit of you and your family's health can be really tricky + confusing.

And boy are there so many "natural" products on the market now filling supermarket shelves, claiming to be good for the planet and us because they're "naturally derived". But.. They're not necessarily still in a natural form by the time they're ready for consumers, therefor not necessarily good for you or the environment. They can also contain hidden allergens and irritants. Not great for kids and people with sensitive skin.
So how the heck do we work out what's safe + healthy to use in terms of cleaning?!? The best way is to get back to basics. Simplify. The less ingredients in a product the better. Makes sense right?

And you can easily make your own super simple + safe cleaning products at home. DIY is a great option. And if a busy mum of two energetic + spirited twin girls can make ALL her household cleaners herself then anyone can!

@karlinamber will do exactly this at our next Primal Gathering on next Sunday morning! Demo'ing how to make a variety of clean goodies for cleaning your home and work place. Yay!

Plus we'll be nourished also through good food, healthy drinks + great conversation.
