Favors can often be an overlooked item throughout the wedding planning process. Many couples often skip them altogether feeling the tradition is a little outdated or feeling like the favors they purchase will just sit on a shelf somewhere in their guests' cabinets.
We suggest choosing a favor that ☝🏽 is personal to you as a couple (ex: If you're coffee lovers, create custom coffee mugs with a cute saying that resonates to you as a couple on them, with your names and dates on the bottom. Or ask the coffee shop that you frequent if they sell mini packs of coffee that you can put personalized stickers on! Oftentimes, they'll give you a discount for bulk orders ☕️☕️☕️). ✌🏽Choose a favor that can be used on an everyday or instant basis or kept as a keepsake. Everyday items could be pot holders, custom dinner napkins or homemade seasonings. Instant items could be late night snack oriented like popcorn 🍿, s'mores or a hot chocolate bar 🍫. ((This can often be done through your caterer!)) Keepsake items could be more sentimental like a family recipe book. You could also opt to put money budgeted for favors and make a donation to charity instead. Have a sign at your reception letting your guests know that you made a donation in their name. The most important thing is to be creative + not to stress!
