We're hanging out with some of our best friends at a festival in Munich, having a blast enjoying the weather when we hear the news of Chester Bennington's passing. We, along with entire scene are completely cut up, shocked and devastated. It's been a stark reminder that no matter how well things are going there are always people who are not so fortunate, maybe struggling and probably sometimes feel out of their depth in a serious way.
Obviously our thoughts go out to his family, friends and band for their tragic loss, obviously as well as Linkin Park's fans who are going to be feeling this deeply too. We count ourselves amongst them, some of us would not be doing this without his voice. Straight up.
Mental health is no joke, it's affected our members in various ways over the years and is not something to take lightly. If you have a friend who you're worried about, speak up. If you feel like you're drowning in you own mind, try to speak up. If you can lend yourself to maybe bring a smile to a troubled mind then speak up. Do NOT let people suffer in silence.
What a loss, we'll be running Hybrid Theory on repeat for days to come. We hope you've found some peace Chester.
