Happy Father's Day to a man who's love, kindness and spirit of integrity is what makes him not only an amazing Father, but an amazing human as well.
He's taught me many things, but children learn through seeing and doing- I watched this man work 2 or 3 jobs almost my entire life, to ensure quality education for his 4 daughters, and that they were raised in a nice, safe neighborhood, with a good community that offered opportunities for them to learn and grow.
His devotion to my Mother and their marriage of over 30 years, which through turbulent times only grows stronger, showed me what true love looks like... so when that same type of love was offered to me through Emmet I said "Yes!" Without hesitation.
My Dad has supported me in good decisions and let me live and learn from the bad, he's helped me, waited up for me, worried about me, he taught me how to ride a bike, drive a car both automatic and manual, rescued me after car trouble, boy trouble, all and any trouble. I've spent many minutes and hours snuggled in his arms as he held me tight- giving me safety and loving me unconditionally since I jumped in his lap at 3 years old and asked "What's your name?" I made this for him, because that father daughter dance meant a lot to me, a man who chose to love me, and to be my Dad.
The world would be a better place with more Rod Millers in it ❤️
