Nikki Donathan works in community outreach with the Aviation Department at Sky Harbor but reaching out to a traveler who was in a bind is what she does naturally.
Nikki was driving on Sky Harbor Boulevard recently when traffic came to a stop because of a stalled car. Nikki pulled her car over and got out to offer assistance to the driver, who turned out to be a servicemember taking his vehicle to be stored before deploying.
She surely left a positive impression on that servicemember who had to deal with a broken-down car before shipping out for duty. For showing kindness and compassionate customer service, Nikki was recognized by our Customer Service On the FLY team (F = Friendly. L = Let me help. Y = You.)
