8mm film still of mr Seth Rosko @rosko_cc at his shop in Brooklyn. Publicly calling myself out on finishing this short film about him that I barely started...what's up Seth are we meeting up for a day soon or what??

we'll fix it in post

and so it begins

baby walnut plant stand with a dremel bday note for @pmvickers ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜ still getting mileage out of those @andyvasquezfurniture walnut scraps๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿธ

D.I.WHY pseudo tincloth wallet from some old canvas dickies cutoffs. lost mine two months ago and just now getting around to try n make one. inspired by best bud @etizolam_dan who made me a leather wallet years ago and consummate crafter @freshkev_s bless up!!

Some snaps from the @jaimiewarrenisyourfriend performance @theholenyc last week - me and zig showed up without tickets and got front row seats!!Freddy Krueger opera singers and fake green vomit that somehow smelled like real puke!! It's easy to get disillusioned with art world ego and image and bullshit here in new york - so to go and see someone being a total freak, unabashedly themself and killing it is super inspiring. I've been a fan for years so it was rad to be there for this. been meaning to look up which painting this piece was based on, but I lost the program so if anybody remembers let me know? big up to all the performers and everyone who helped make this happen, it was truly a special night. #jaimiewarren

baby shelf I made with more @andyvasquezfurniture walnut scraps, a @pmvickers painting and rad lil hand painted animal figurines from india

baby's first half lap joint, hey @andyvasquezfurniture im finally using those scraps of walnut ya gave me, baby plant stand comin soon

Me and zig are fresh back from a week in the woods of New Hampshire, where we were lucky to be invited as guest artists to teach at Beam Camp. I led classes on Zen Buddhism and Campfire Cooking (we called it "Tin Foil Chef") and generally had one of the best weeks of my life. No phone service, access to wood, metal and ceramics shops, surrounded by smart creative people who were glad to show me how to mess around with whatever project I got myself into - not to mention all the hilarious, sweet, genius kids. I had my zen students punch the lake (a lesson in "being like water") and we traipsed around studying Wabi Sabi leaf patterns. We baked eggs inside of potatoes and made pineapple upsidedown cakes on the open fire. I made a bench out of scrap, "fabricated" some pry bars (that I now have to figure out how to temper), handbuilt some pots (with a pit firing in mind that went horribly wrong ๐Ÿ˜‚) and rowed a sketchy lil boat out to pick wild blueberries on an island. Major shout out to @orangepopsiclesandlemonade for giving us the opportunity - THANK YOU ZENA, CANT WAIT TO BE BACK!!!
