Well, he’s checked in and shared more images from a recent hike through New Zealand’s breathtaking mountains and we’re passing them along. Thanks for sharing, Nico!

Zombie Ants!
The Huck Institute of the Life Sciences' 'Zombie Ant Experience' opens at the Millennium Science Complex, Monday, May 21. A team of artists and scientists worked on this interactive exhibit that combines #augmentedreality with physical sculptures.
Psst ... We also heard you may be able to see parts of this exhibit at #ArtsFest this year.

#PSUrepost #repost - #PSUBeforeAfter update 2/12: Marie Elena “Mále” Reguero, a graphic design senior from San Juan, Puerto Rico, said she brought her Puerto Rican flag as her personal item to her “before” photo because “it symbolizes my roots, my culture, my family and my identity. I love where I come from and I hope to represent Puerto Rico everywhere I go.” In the fall, she will move to New York City as a junior designer with “Rent The Runway,” an online service that provides designer dress and accessory rentals. Reguero not only proudly survived her first winter, according to the first-year follow-up interviews, but all four winters. Her wardrobe has changed from bright colors to black, and she reflected how young she was when she first came to Penn State, and how much wiser she is now. She feels more empowered as a woman and hopes to use graphic design to become an advocate for women. This summer, she will visit Thailand and return home before moving to NYC. She said she will miss the challenges from her classes and the openness and creativity that studio provided as well as the friendships she formed. Her advice to her “before” self would be “Don’t stress about the future, and live more in the moment.” @stuckeman_views @pennstategraphicdesign - #pennstate

Wes Schlauch had a stroke at age 16 and wasn't sure if college would work for him. Fast forward to this spring when he received a standing ovation as he walked across the stage at graduation! “Wes has never been one to use his disability as an excuse. He has shown others that this is something you can do, like if I can do it, then so can you." A big #WeAre is in order for this Penn Stater! #MondayMotivation
